Unsure on something?
How did you get into dog walking?
We (Dog-obsessed Michael & Louise) created The Pawsitive Pack for two reasons: our love of animals and Michael’s personal health battle. In 2023 Michael was diagnosed with brain cancer. It’s a crappy card to have been dealt, but it makes us more determined to keep fit and surround ourselves with positive energy, people and of course, man’s best friend, doggies! We are so dog crazy here that during a break from Michael’s full time security role to have treatment, we ended up looking after friends, family and even work colleagues pets for weeks at a time! We loved it so much we thought, why aren’t we doing this all the time!? Fast forward and we've taken the leap and so proud to now say we are both professionally trained and insured dog walkers!
What services do you offer?
We offer dog walks; solo, group, golden oldies and puppies. We also offer drop in visits and pet sitting.
What areas do you cover?
We are really lucky to be located in Nash Mills. The canal, the Long Denes and other large open spaces are right on our door step which we love to take full advantage of! For walks, drop in visits and sittings, we accept in the Nash Mills, Kings Langley & Hemel areas dependent on availability. We are also happy to look into booking other areas dependant on availability.
How do I make a booking?
We accept bookings over the phone and this is our preferred method. We are also happy to take bookings over email but please ensure you have received our email back confirming your query has been received and your booking has been made. Thank you!
How do I make a payment?
We accept payments in both BACS or cash, whichever works best for you. We are also happy to send over invoices if this helps you.
Do you work weekends?
Yes! Here at the The Pawsitive Club work we like to be able to offer you flexibility. Although we tend to get booked up quickly at weekends, please let us know if this is a service you need and we can try and find some wiggle room!
Do you work evenings?
We pride ourselves on being an approachable and reliable brand that we wouldn't hesitate to use ourselves. If you and your pet need our walking or drop in services in the evenings, please drop us a message and we will be more than happy to discuss fitting in with you!
Will you give my dog treats?
We would absolutely love to give your dog treats as a reward on their walk. However, with a 15 year old dog ourselves who has a very dodgy tummy, we know all about sensitivities and will understand if you would like us to stay well clear of the treats!
What qualifications do you have?
Here at The Pawsitive Pack we want to do things right, we are also keen learners and want to to be able to help you look after your four legged friends! We take pride in knowing we can offer the following - DBS checked Fully insured business with Protectivity Public liability insurance First aid trained walker - both humans and dogs! Includes CPR. Can I meet you before my booking?
Yes! A meet and greet is required before we make anything official. This is for us to get to know you and to ensure your four legged pal is comfortable with us too. We will ask for some of yours and your pups details so that we are able to offer a service pur-fect for you. We’ll then take a stroll together if you would like, and discuss any final questions. Finally, we will agree In Case of Emergency actions.
Can you please explain the process to me?
We will arrange a free initial meeting in your home, which will last around 30 minutes but can be slightly longer if we have more to cover. This allows me to meet your dog and of course let them get used to who will be taking them on their new adventures! We will also go through a questionnaire so we can really get to know your needs. Please ensure you have the following ready for our visit: Vaccination records Microchip number Pet insurance details Vet contact details We can't wait to meet you and for you to become a part of the pack!
How much do you charge?
It's important to us to be affordable. Prices for our services we offer can be found on our service page ....
Do you accept all doggy types?
We currently accept all breeds of dogs. We pride ourselves on taking time to introduce dogs to each other and alternatively spend one on one time with dogs who prefer their own company to keep us all as safe as possible. We will always follow laws and safety regulations.
Will you keep me updated?
Yes! Pupdates and/or report cards will be given at the end of walks and visits. We’re big fans of your four legged friends and want to show them off where possible! We will be having heaps of fun and would love to show you what they’ve been up too!
Do you offer pet boarding?
We have heaps of experience looking after family, friends and even work friends doggys. Although we currently do not hold the official license to do this, this is something we would love to offer in the future. Watch this space!
How will you transport my dog?
We like to do things a little different here at The Pawsitive Pack. Although we have access to vehicles, we choose to do most of our business on foot. This is for 2 main reasons, the socialisation and exercise for your pup, and also Michael's health condition, which you can read more about in our 'about me' page! We find keeping things on foot helps us to build a small but tight pack in the area we live and love. King's Langley and surrounding areas are so full of community and we love being able to feel a huge part of that.
How will you keep my dog safe?
This is obviously the most important part of our role and we do everything we can to keep your pet safe at all times. We have tried and tested all our walks before and will never take your dog to an unknown area. We will only let your dog off the lead when you have given us permission to do so and they are able to return with a command. We are extremely vigilant, which is where Michael's background in security is very beneficial, and will always look out for any potential dangers to avoid. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
My dog will need medicine on your visit, is this something you can do?
With a 15 year old doggo who has a ton of allergies at home, it is safe to say we are pros here at all things dog medication. Let us know what you need and we will be happy to help.
I need to cancel, what do I do?

Please ensure you phone if you wish to cancel, this is the only method we can accept.
